The building was built in 1691 and now has a Collyweston slate roof. The Nene Valley Way running right through the car park. The modernised L-shaped bar features wooden parquet flooring and is extended through several rooms. An Ale and Cider loyalty club exists (buy 8 pints and get 1 free), while Tue-Thu 4.30 to 6.30 ales a £3 a pint. On the food front, the pub's menu varies throughout the week: Thai food is available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings; pub classics are served Thursday, Friday and Saturday lunchtimes; pizza and occasional theme nights are on Friday and Saturday evening; roasts are served on Sunday.
