Always a favourite, our annual meeting here is aboard the railway coach in the platform at the Rushden Historical Transport Society where six beers including a dark and ciders are always available. Bring your Ale trail card too for a stamp! Meeting starts at 19:30 and with the new format, we hope to have a game of skittles afterwards in the railway carriage.

To get some elusive stamps for your Ale Trail, following the closure of the Bull Head, Clipston, we will meet instead at the Beerhouse, Market Harborough, at 19:00 where up to eight beers are always on. At 20:30 we will move on to the George, Great Oxendon where Langton beers are the usual local ales.

Our popular games night with a skittles match amongst ourselves. This regular event is on the first Wednesday of the month at the Phipps’ Albion Brewery Bar who have offered a £10 voucher to the monthly winner. If you don’t play skittles, you are still more than welcome at this monthly event and you can always play cards or dominoes instead. Meet at 18:30, starts at 19:00.

  • HERITAGE BUS TRIP “SUMMER SATURDAY SAUNTER 17” Saturday 15 August 2026 Northeast Northants

Our seventeenth “Summer Saturday Saunter” takes us to the northeast of the county for two brewery presentations, a Pub of the Season Award, and five Ale Trail pubs. Our first stop will be a rare visit to Digfield Ales where we will present two awards; Barnwell Bitter for winning the Session Bitters and Mad Monk for winning Brown and Read Ales, Old Ales and Strong Milds categories. It’s then onto Oundle to present the Ship Inn with the Summer Town Pub of the Season, and then Nene Valley Brewery whose Egyptian Cream was the Porter and Stouts and subsequent Overall Winner in the County Beer Festival. Ww will then nip into the Tap and Kitchen (GBG) for a sticker, followed by the Chequered Skipper, Ashton; Queens Head, Nassington; Shuckburgh Arms (GBG), Southwick, and Cross Keys (GBG), Kings Cliffe. From Northampton at 09:00, return times are expected to be by 19:00. There will be no food arranged. Please book, joining instructions sent on Wednesday 12th.

  • BRANCH SOCIAL – BROUGHTON AND ISHAM Tuesday 18 August 2026 Red Lion, Broughton

  • LAST NATIONAL BREWRIANA AUCTION Saturday 24 October 2026 Burton-upon-Trent

After 39 events, CAMRA’s Games & Collectables are calling it a day for the National Breweriana Auction. It's a very specialist event to run and we can't find new blood to keep it running.
