This year we again visit London for the usual mix of historical pubs and GBG pubs that are either new to us or haven’t been visited for a while. The final pubs will be decided upon the issue of the new GBG although the intention is to cross the river for a selection of brewery taps and historical pubs in the Battersea, Wandsworth and Wimbledon areas. Depart on the first off-peak trains with a Group Save discount (3-9 folk) cost is around £28.00, although advance purchase is cheaper with return after 19:00. You will also need an Oyster card or credit card for trains, tube and buses. Alternatively, a day return with a railcard including all buses, tube and rail is £31.70.
