A friendly, attractive old white-washed pub with a good atmosphere in the older part of the village on the main road with bus stops just outside. The interior is very welcoming and cosy with soft lighting, a beamed ceiling, two character fireplaces and half panelling separating the numerous drinking/eating alcoves which are all served by a side bar. Outside there is a tented seating area/courtyard and a beer garden with a children's play area. There is a barn with its own bar which is used as a function room.
