CLOSED around September - October 2024 despite a previous campaign by residents who saved the pub from being converted into houses. It re-opened mid-September 2020 although is currently closed again. This 17th century ironstone-built pub stands proud above a patch of grass at the roadside. The rear entrance has wheelchair access to the pub. Inside has been opened out although there are still two separate areas for dining and drinking. The Coach House was converted in 2010 and now redecorated to a high standard offering six individual rooms which all are en-suite with complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee.
