Olde Three Cocks14 High Street
A large, three-roomed pub which was once a coaching inn, taking its name from a heavy horse which was used to help drag stagecoaches up steep hills and not poultry, although the modern pub sign does indeed show poultry. There's just one bar, but among the rooms is one with its own entrance door into the car park - excellent if you are staying with dogs. There is a back patio with plenty of seating. Disabled access via the rear door though no accessible toilet.
