Situated in a gully in the village, the Crewe Arms can be hard to find. The entrance to the pub is through the rear gravel car park, and going into the pub, on the left is one of the original pub signs. The pub's cellar which is located in the main dining area may have been part of a tunnel between the village manor and the local church. The pub has a choice of two real ales during weekdays and three at weekends. Bar snack are available Monday. Sunday lunches are extremely popular and you are advised to book ahead. The pub also sponsors the local village cricket team. Two letting rooms available.
