Something new to the Northampton Beer Festival!

In the afternoon of Saturday 31st May, our local CAMRA trainer and deputy chair of the Northamptonshire Tasting Panel, Trish, will be running a Discovery Zone with her partner Steve.

Pop along to discover more about hops and malts and between 2:00pm and 3:00pm she will be hosting an informal get together of tasting panel trained members and non members are free to watch.

The aim of the session is simply for us to get together, complete a few tasting cards (especially for local beers we don't often get to try) and show people who aren't members of CAMRA what we do. It is open to everybody but we particularly want to support those of you who have perhaps completed a tasting training course but have not had the opportunity, or don't feel you have the confidence, to participate in your local Tasting Panel. There will also be a competition for the best beer description! If you would like to join in with the tasting panel, please get in touch so we have an idea of numbers.
